Your CDG transfer in detail
Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), also known as Roissy Airport, is France's largest airport and Europe's second-busiest with over 76 million passengers annually. Located 35 kilometers northeast of Paris in the Val-d'Oise department, CDG is a major hub for Air France and numerous international airlines. The airport consists of three main terminals: Terminal 1 (iconic circular design, international flights), Terminal 2 with divisions 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F and 2G (the largest, Air France hub and alliance carriers), and Terminal 3 (formerly T9, dedicated to low-cost and charter airlines).
The journey between CDG and central Paris takes an average of 45 to 75 minutes depending on traffic conditions. During rush hours (7-10am and 4-8pm), the trip can extend up to 90 minutes via the A1 motorway and the périphérique ring road. Our professional chauffeurs have perfect knowledge of all alternative routes — the N2, the Francilienne or the riverside roads — and adapt the route in real time using advanced GPS tracking to ensure an optimal transfer.
Once your booking is confirmed, your Élysée Chauffeurs driver receives all your flight information. On the day of your arrival, they track your flight in real time and position themselves at CDG airport before your landing. They wait in the arrivals area with a name sign, handle your luggage and escort you to your Mercedes parked nearby. All you need to do is settle in comfortably — our chauffeur takes care of everything.

CDG terminals we serve
Terminal 1
CDG Terminal 1 is recognizable by its iconic circular shape. It mainly handles long-haul international flights operated by airlines such as Lufthansa, Japan Airlines, Emirates and United Airlines. It is the airport's historic terminal, renovated in 2009.
Terminal 2 (A-G)
Terminal 2 is CDG's largest, divided into seven halls: 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F and 2G. It is the main hub for Air France and the SkyTeam alliance. Terminal 2E is the newest and largest, handling Air France long-haul flights. 2G, connected by shuttle, serves regional and European destinations. Each hall has its own arrivals area.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 (formerly Terminal 9) is dedicated to low-cost carriers and charter flights. More compact than Terminals 1 and 2, it hosts airlines including Vueling, Volotea, Pegasus and certain seasonal flights. Despite its modest size, Terminal 3 benefits from a direct connection to the RER/TGV station and the CDGVAL automatic metro.
