Terms & Conditions of Service
VTC booking platform - Version effective on March 22, 2026
Article 1 - Presentation and definitions
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Elysee Chauffeurs and any client booking a chauffeur-driven transport service through the website, by phone, email or WhatsApp. Elysee Chauffeurs acts as a booking platform connecting clients with independent VTC partner chauffeurs.
Article 2 - Applicable legal framework
The service is governed by French transport, consumer, civil and data-protection rules applicable to private chauffeur and booking-platform services. Transport services provided on a specific date are not subject to the standard 14-day withdrawal right.
Article 3 - Booking and contract formation
The client must provide accurate booking details, including contact information, pickup date and time, addresses, passengers, luggage and any specific requirements. The contract is formed once Elysee Chauffeurs confirms the booking by email or written message.
Article 4 - Prices and payment
Prices are agreed in advance before the service is performed. Quotes include the vehicle with chauffeur, professional insurance, fuel, kilometres included in the package and VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated. Payment is made through the secure payment link sent manually with the quote.
Article 5 - Cancellation, changes and refunds
Cancellation and change requests must be sent in writing. They are handled according to timing, service type and commitments already made with partner chauffeurs. Refunds, credits or postponements are assessed case by case.
Article 6 - Service performance
Partner chauffeurs must hold valid VTC credentials, maintain professional insurance, use compliant vehicles and provide a punctual, safe and professional service. Clients must respect the vehicle, chauffeur and agreed booking conditions.
Article 7 - Liability and force majeure
Neither party may be held liable for failure caused by force majeure. Elysee Chauffeurs remains responsible for managing the booking relationship within the limits set by the applicable French legal framework.
Article 8 - Personal data and disputes
Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Any dispute is first handled through good-faith discussion. Failing amicable resolution, the competent French courts apply.
